Entries for Tuesday Sales will be taken on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday (5pm) of the previous week for inclusion in the draw.
Entries for Thursday & Friday Sales will be taken on Thursday and Friday (5pm) of the previous week for inclusion in the draw.
Entries for Monday Sheep Auction taken on Friday of previous week.
The Runner Section:
Only Stock 6 MONTHS OR UNDER will be sold in the Runner Section and they will be sold after the Calf Sale.
Calves must be at least 10 days of age before they can be sold and UNDER 6 weeks of age.

***Change to draw system for Bullocks, Heifers, Cull Cows, Weanling Bulls & Weanling Heifers – From 31st January 2022 – enter your stock as usual – if the number drawn is equal to or below half the number of pens entered, we go down to pen 1 and then up. If the number drawn is above half the number of pens entered, we go up to the last pen in the draw, then start at pen 1 and up to the number drawn.
Sheep Sellers All sheep including lambs presented for sale must be identified with a full set of EID tags, i.e. one conventional tag in the sheep’s left ear and a corresponding electronic tag placed in the sheep’s right ear. All sheep moved to and from a livestock mart must also be accompanied by a newly issued dispatch document containing a barcoded document serial number.

Numbers dropping off a bit with just over 500 on offer. Overall trade very much similar to last week but quality getting variable across the board. Trade holding quite good for quality lots in bulls and heifers and good demand for quality suckler stock with in-calf lots making to €1,640, very mixed run of pairs made to €1,300. Runner heifers made to €730 and bulls to €860. Lambs improved again today and averaged €2.18/kg with a lot of 6 at 50kgs making €116. Cull ewes made €90 to €121.

Fine size sale today with over 750 cattle and a cracker of a trade for quality stores and thankfully a lot of good quality stock available for the customers present and a few new customers about today too in the bullock and heifer rings. Cull cow trade similar with a mix of 50/50 Continentals and Friesians. There were 240 culls of offer today. A small entry of aged bulls on offer and these meet an improved trade with a top call of €1,580 for a 970kg Limousin.

Good size sale for the day of the year with 450 head on offer together with over 300 sheep. Trade holding very good and even a slight increase in some prices, again quality lots a very fine trade. Again a small entry of suckler stock with pairs topping out at €1,990. Runner heifers made to €685 and runner bulls to €810. Sheep trade slightly improved with 55kgs making to €115. Cull ewes made €50 to €122. In-lamb ewes made €102 to €172.

Reasonable number today with 250 on offer together with almost 200 sheep. Trade held quite strong especially for quality lots. Runner heifers fetched to €645 with bulls hitting €790. A small entry of calves meet a very good trade and made to €440. Cows and calves made to €1,650 and in-calf to €1,510. Sheep improved about €2 to €3/hd again and made to €120 for a pen at 53kgs. Cull ewes made €83 to €100.
